Leadership
2010
President
Stuart Zeltzer
Stuart is a Junior in LSA. He is a double concentrator in Microbiology and Spanish, with the intention of persuing a career in the field of medicine. Outside of Arts Chorale, Stuart spends his time studying for the MCAT (...Only until January!), playing sports, researching, attending U of M hockey games and chilling in The Red House. As President, Stuart's job is to ensure that everything in choir and the executive board runs smoothly. If you need to reach Stuart, or have any choir-related concern, question, or information please email him at .
Vice-President
John Niesen
John Niesen is a junior in the College of Engineering. He is majoring in Aerospace Engineering, and hopes to also complete an LSA Music minor. He has been in Arts Chorale every semester he has been at the University, and has no plan to end that trend. Outside of Arts Chorale, John enjoys playing his guitar, singing, and hanging out with his friends, but is more likely to be found working on homework or working in a variety of capacities with the RC players. John is in charge of all publicity and recruitment for the choir. If you need to reach John for any reason whatsoever you can do so at .
Secretary
Maureen Stych
Maureen (or Mo, as nearly everyone calls her), is a History of Art major and enthusiast of beautiful things. As Secretary of Arts
Chorale, Mo (happily) learns everyone's names so she can take attendance at practice. She is also in charge of organizing carpools
and t-shirt purchasing, which caters nicely to her love of road trips and designing t-shirts. On campus, she designs pages for The Michigan
Daily newspaper, and works as an intern at the University Musical Society in the Programming Department. When she isn't singing with the
AC (a rare sight, indeed), Mo is usually designing postcards, running, taking pictures, trying to figure out her future, or doing Will Shortz's crosswords. Questions? Email Mo at .
Treasurer
Katie Holden
Katie is a sophomore in LSA and is majoring in Math. When she’s not singing with Arts Chorale, Katie enjoys hanging out with friends, procrastination, watching movies and just moseying around campus. However, the moseying often leads her to the grad library where you can find her studying most frequently. This is her second semester in Arts Chorale, and she is in charge of all member dues, AC finances, and fund raisers. If you have any questions you can reach her at .
Music Manager
Minhdzuy Khorami
Minhdzuy is a sophomore in LSA and majoring in Communication Studies. Though he doesn’t know what that means, he aspires to be a TV Writer. He promises not to forget you, the little people, when he makes it big. Minhdzuy joined Arts Chorale the Winter 2009 semester and immediately became obsessed with the group, attending far too many AC activities (ACtivities) and periodically stalking the former E-board. He’s also from DC, evidenced by his unconditional love for the Washington Redskins. When not Arts Choraling or crying about his team’s most recent loss, Minhdzuy enjoys writing for the RC Players, watching obscene amounts of television, and correcting various pronunciations of his name. He is in charge of keeping track of music, passing out folders, and buying pretty flowers. Though he can be reached with a special frequency whistle, you can also email him at if you have any questions.
Historian
Baylee Corcoran
Baylee is a sophomore in LSA with a major in English and French, along with a Korean Studies minor. She just transferred from Loyola University
Chicago, and while she misses the city, she loves Ann Arbor! When she is not in Arts Chorale or talking with previous AC alums, she volunteers at a
first grade classroom, takes walks with her dog Coltrane, and dances to 70's music. She is so excited about the upcoming semesters, so feel free to contact her at if you have any questions about what the historian does or how you can help!
Webmaster
Daniel Cox
Daniel is a junior in Mechanical Engineering and hopes to acquire a Masters degree before leaving the University - mostly so that he can stay in Arts Chorale for an extra year. After attaining his graduate degree, he will require everyone to call him "Master Cox" with a British Accent. Until then, however, calling him "Dan" will suffice. On the rare occasion that he is not singing with Arts Chorale, he can be found on stage (or behind the scenes or writing) with the RC Players, or playing with his guitar and writing ridiculous songs in the Arb when it's not too chilly. Dan is also in charge of updating the website, so shoot him an email at if you have any comments or concerns regarding this site.
2009
President
Codi Sharp
Codi is a junior in LSA. She's majoring in the Program in the Environment and currently completely unsure of how she wants to apply this degree. When she's not singing with Arts Chorale, Codi is leading an SLC study group for CHEM 215, splashing in mud puddles, jumping rope to the Beatles, or saving the planet. She started singing with AC freshman year, and hopes that you will join too! As President, Codi's job is to ensure that everything in choir and the executive board runs smoothly. If you need to reach Codi, or have any choir-related concern, question, or information please email her at .
Vice-President
Lauren Rajewski
Lauren is a junior in the College of Engineering. Arts Chorale rehearsal is her favorite part of the week, and now she handles all publicity and advertising for choir recruitment and concerts. Outside of Arts Chorale, you can probably find her hanging out with her friends or shopping, but more realistically studying in the UGLi. Want to know more about the choir? Even better, do you like singing AND passing out quarter-sheets? Email Lauren at .
Secretary
Maureen Stych
Maureen (or Mo, as nearly everyone calls her), is an undeclared LSA junior leaning towards Pre-Med and/or History of Art. As Secretary of Arts Chorale, Mo is (happily) learning everyone's names so she can take attendance at practice. She is also in charge of organizing carpools and t-shirt purchasing, which she undertakes with enthusiasm, as she enjoys road trips and designing t-shirts. On campus, she is Co-Managing Design Layout and Design Editor at The Michigan Daily Newspaper, and a Photographer at the Michiganensian Yearbook. When she isn't singing with the AC (a rare sight, indeed), Mo is usually writing letters, designing postcards, watching "Law & Order" or "House," taking pictures, or doing Will Shortz's crosswords. Questions? Email Mo at .
Treasurer
Carrie Schalm
Carrie is a senior in LSA and is majoring in Financial Math with a minor in Musicology. Outside Arts Chorale, Carrie enjoys playing piano, watching The Office reruns, and doing community service through APO. E-mail her at if you have any questions regarding dues or any other AC information, fiscal or otherwise.
Music Manager
John Niesen
John Niesen is a junior in the College of Engineering. He is majoring in Aerospace Engineering, and hopes to also complete an LSA Music minor. He has been in Arts Chorale every semester he has been at the University, and would like to continue that trend. If you need to reach John for any reason whatsoever you can do so at .
Historian
Caleb Heyman
Caleb is a junior english and history major from Ardsley, New York, just outside of New York City. This is his third semester in AC. He joined because he has always wanted sing outside of his shower and car, but never took the initiative to join a choir. He's really excited to have a leadership position; he can't wait to get to know everyone better. He spends most of his studying hours at Espresso on State Street, so if anyone has a choir-history emergency (of which he's sure there will be many) that is the most likely place to find him. If, for whatever reason, you can't find him at Espresso, send him an email at . He's looking forward to serving you all!

2008
President
Rachel Kay
Rachel is a senior in LSA. She's a Psychology major interested in pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology. Other than Arts Chorale, Rachel is involved in the APO, SHARE, and from time to time she stops by the psychoanalytic club. She enjoys chatting online, playing spider solitaire (embarrassing), hanging with friends, forcing herself to go to the CCRB, partying and singing with Arts Chorale :). She has been in AC since freshman year, and hopes that you will join too! Rachel's job is to ensure that everything in choir and the executive board runs smoothly. If you need to reach Rachel, or have any choir-related concern, question, or information please email her at .
Vice-President
Colleen McClain
Colleen is a senior in LSA Honors, double majoring in Political Science and Communication Studies. Arts Chorale rehearsal has been her favorite part of the week since freshman year, and now she handles all publicity and advertising for choir recruitment and concerts. If she's not singing or studying, you can probably find her salsa dancing, hosting a movie night, or dreaming up new ideas for AC posters. Want to know more about the choir? Even better, do you like singing AND passing out quarter-sheets? Email Colleen at .
Secretary
Kausar Hafeez
Kausar is a senior in LSA. She's a major in Linguistics and Neuroscience, with a minor in Spanish. She loves singing in AC, but when she isn't doing that, she likes volunteering with kids, playing tennis and hanging out with her friends. Kausar has been in AC since her freshman year, and she is responsible for attendance and t-shirts/sweatshirts. Questions? Email Kausar at .
Treasurer
Nate Chapla
Nate is a senior in LSA. Nate has a double concentration in Psychology and Spanish. Nate likes to climb trees, walk around campus, hang out in the Union, watch movies, and sing karaoke. Nate has been in Arts Chorale since his first semester freshman year, and his job is to manage the Arts Chorale finances and to collect dues from choir members. Nate's e-mail is if you have any questions regarding his fiscal duties.
Music Manager
Derek Kauserud
Derek is a sophomore in LSA. He is currently undecided. Outside of Arts Chorale, Derek enjoys playing sports (tennis & soccer preferably), watching good movies, or just hanging out with friends. Derek has played piano for 9 years and has sung in various choirs since his freshman year of high school. His greatest fears include railroad crossings and sharks. If you need to reach Derek please e-mail him at .
Webmaster
Kevin Klinke
Kevin is a sophomore in the College of Engineering. He is majoring in Computer Science and hoping to minor in both Physics and Music through LSA. Along with Arts Chorale, Kevin is also member of the University of Michigan Men's Glee Club. He enjoys acting ridiculous (preferably in public) as well as spending long hours in the basement of the UGLi (just kidding... sort of). If you have any questions (or if you find any errors on the site), contact Kevin at .
